Parking is available on the lower level of the Parking Lot 1 (Burge Parking Deck) off North Avenue. The deck is located adjacent to the Alumni Faculty House and across the street from the football stadium/Student Success Center.
Parking Procedures: Georgia Tech has a parking attendant named "Luke". You will park in a numbered space then put money in or swipe your credit card in the machine. The rate is $1.00 per hour. Estimate the amount of time you will be recruiting and pay that amount. Luke takes cash ($1, $5, or $10 dollar bills), Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Luke will provide a receipt.
If the Burge Parking Deck is full, the next most convinient lot will be adjacent to the Student Center/Student Services Buildings. That lot is located on Ferst Drive. Turn left out of Fowler Strret onto North Avenue. Take the first right into Cherry Street, and then turn left at the Stop sign onto Ferst Drive. Proceed until you see the Student Center Parking kiosk on the right(parallel to the Wachovia Bank across the street on the left).
In addition, parking meters have been installed along some of the campus streets to accommodate short term parking. These meters have a maximum time limit of two hours.
Ticketing and/or "booting" of illegally parked vehicles is enforced. Ticket/towing fees must be borne by the recipient.
